Ranking rules
Rankings are computed from recorded matches, not manually placed.
Top rows are shown as exact computed ranks. Deeper rows use estimated bands when the evidence is not strong enough to claim fake precision.
Wins over proven opponents count more than wins over thin resumes.
Recent results carry more weight; older results still count, but fade.
Head-to-head wins can break close cases, but newer elite results can outweigh older direct wins.
Title wins, title defenses, activity, and inactivity all affect the score.
Country and continent strength comes from international bridge evidence: who crossed regions and how those results connect to the global graph.
Every row shows plain-English evidence so debated rankings can be audited quickly.
